You can plan your trip on Via Rails’s website. It’s about 7-8 hours. And you have to switch trains in Montreal.
It depends the train. Some are express (they stop at fewer smaller towns), and some aren’t. I’d expect between 6.5 and 8 hours, though. Oh, and you need to get off in Montreal and switch “corridors”, so that takes some time as well.

Are you saying Quebec the province or quebec city?
Anyways…like everyone else has said it take about 7 hours (i’ve done it) the train they used when I did it was actually pretty nice…for VIA anyways.
Since it was leaving from Toronto it was on time.
If you are going to Quebec city then you’ll need to transfer to another train. That train won’t be nearly as nice (i’ve taken the train from toronto-montreal and montreal-halifax).
Kind of makes me wish our government did something serious about getting some form of high speed rail between Toronto and Montreal
